Regina Case is a Clinical Therapist who owns ‘Advanced Therapeutic Counselling’. Working within an Association-approved scope of practice, she offers a variety of educational and mental-health related services for individuals, couples, families, small groups, and presents at workshops and seminars.
She is widely diversified in dealing with a broad spectrum of client issues, structures a personalized recovery plan, and workswith clients toward implementation. These include: relationship issues; separation/divorce; conflict/communication issues; family issues; parenting toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents; trauma; grief and loss; worry/stress; trauma; anger; sadness/depression; and anxiety/panic attacks.
Regina believes that if couples have reached a ‘wall’ in their relationship, if both agree to give the relationship 100% in counselling sessions and beyond, then they will have a good chance to develop a ‘forever’ relationship. As they learn how to let go of past pain and use ‘new communication skills’ taught at ‘Advanced Therapeutic Counselling’; they will have a peaceful, reliable method to solve any potential future conflict. Through a pro-active approach, Regina then assists couples in ‘rebuilding’ their relationship.
If one person takes an adversarial role to end the relationship, the other party may wish to advocate counselling. If there is no other recourse, Regina offers counselling and mediation with the goal of developing an amicable separation/divorce ‘out of court’. To accomplish this, she uses a wide variety of therapeutic and practical approaches tailored to each specific personal situation. Regina is a qualified Child Specialist, Divorce Coach and Mediator trained in Collaborative Family Law.
As a Child Specialist and Parenting Expert, Regina assists parents in an expedient, efficient manner in tailoring specific plans to meet their individual goals. This may range from teaching developmental stages and related child behaviour from birth through adolescent years; explaining how different parenting styles highly influence child behaviour; gifting strategies to implement changes regarding specific behavioural issues, and counselling parents to co-parent successfully through Separation/Divorce.
Although she does some long-term counselling, Regina’s proactive short term counselling approach achieves maximum results as she assists clients in achieving their personal goals. She believes contributing success factors are her continual investments in current professional development combined with her personal life’s learning curves, clinical experiences and ongoing academic research.
